【H3C NAVIGATE 2023 Summit Comes to a Successful Close】
The H3C NAVIGATE 2023 Summit successfully took place in Hangzhou on June 9. Themed "Dedication For A Smarter Future", the summit brought together thousands of industry leaders, scholars, technicians, executives and partners to discuss the challenges and strategies that the ICT industry is facing in the AIGC field, and to share innovative breakthroughs and successful cases in the digital transformation of different industries.

Brighten Li, Chairman of Tsinghua Unigroup said that in the face of AIGC, enterprises should not only persist in the right direction, but they should also extensively cooperate with each other to embrace the digital evolution. Tsinghua Unigroup and H3C will continue working with all partners to create value for its customers to bring a better and happier life to more people.

In 2023, AIGC’s smart technology unveiled a new chapter in industrial revolution. Tony Yu, Chairman of the Board of Unisplendour, CEO & President of H3C, said that humans should work hard to stand out in a world of AI, while corporations must have the courage to adopt this new technology to remain competitive in the market.

During the plenary session, H3C unveiled several significant developments and initiatives:
The first is the H3C UniServer R5500 G6 AI, an AI server for large-scale training and equipped with 4th generation Xeon Scalable Processor and H800 GPU. It promises three-times the computing power of previous generations and reduces training time for large language models by 70%. The H3C UniServer R5500 G6 AI supports liquid cooling, meaning power usage effectiveness is reduced to under 1.1.
The second is a highlight in the smart networks, the world’s first 51.2T 800G CPO silicon-photonic data center switch. Data exchange of more than 10,000 servers requiring billions of calculations is no stranger in the era of AIGC. As such, maximizing latency and energy consumption to meet these demands is the ultimate test. H3C’s newest 51.2T 800G CPO silicon-photonic data center features a non-blocking network architecture with high throughput performance to meet the capacity of a single AIGC cluster of 32,000 GPUs – 8 times that of a 400G switch. In the past, 800 switches were required to train such a large-scale model, but now only 100 are needed. In addition, the transmission latency of a single port is further reduced by 20%, while the GPU data interaction capability in the AIGC cluster is increased by 25%. The data signal is crossed from traditional PBC interconnection to all-optical interconnection: this not only greatly reduces power consumption, but also the TCO expense of a single cluster by 30%.
The 3rd product launch is the Advanced Management Platform- H3C AMPHA, which supports scheduling for 8000 nodes and reduces concurrent training time by 50%; it even automatically resumes from the break with zero user interference. AMPHA can support both AI missions and HPC computer power, cloud-based deployment and standalone application that, altogether, help customers build an autonomous and user-friendly, intelligent computing platform.
In lieu of booming AIGC technology, H3C will continue to fully utilize its seasoned know-how and pioneering position in the field of digital technology and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of AIGC-related applications, build leading digital solutions pragmatically, accelerate digital transformation and be the most trustworthy partner across all industries and trades.
